TWO MAUDS, Inc. In 2020 we received a $5,000 grant from Two Mauds, Inc. With these grant dollars, we sterilized 141 cats, which included 77 females and 64 males. In 2021 we were thrilled to receive another $10,000 grant from this incredible organization. Coming to Operation Fancy Free, Inc. in January, when cold temperatures hinder TNVR activities, this grant allowed us to concentrate on many indoor cats who had owners, prior to the explosion of kitten season in West Virginia. We were also authorized to spend $500 on extra medical care which allowed us to provide medical services to 21 adult cats dumped in early March of that year. With the remaining $9,500, we sterilized 269 cats, of which 152 were females, and 117 males. Then, in 2022 we received $5,000 and sterilized 139 more cats, including 84 females and 55 males. We are very thankful for Dr. Dallas Pratt's vision and desire to help us help these cats. Two Mauds is based in New York City and its Board of Directors is committed to fulfilling Dr. Pratt's wishes. We hope we have made Dr. Pratt proud! Your Name here Wouldn’t you be "feline great" to be in this spot, supporting Operation Fancy Free, Inc.? Tractor Supply Co. Ripley, W.Va. Our local Tractor Supply Co. location hosts an Operation Fancy Free, Inc. donation barrel located inside the Ripley, W.Va. store. Donations from the public can be placed in the barrel and are used for feeding managed and vetted colonies, as well as trapping cats. We receive some fantastic donations from our community at this location and at times, also use their parking lot for organizing our transports to and from the vet. Thank you Tractor Supply of Ripley! And, thank you kind donors! On Shore Foundation In existence since 1986, the On Shore Foundation provides funding to small and mostly volunteer-run non-profits which focus on saving animals and the environment. Since 2016, the On Shore Foundation has provided Operation Fancy Free, Inc. with an annual $1,000 grant to continue our mission of Trap, Neuter or Spay, Vaccinate and Return. We are so thankful for the On Shore Foundation and their support of small non-profits like us! Pictured above is Fester, a tomcat who suffered years of fight wounds and scarring to his ears – this excludes his ear tip, which represents his sterilization and vaccination via TNVR. The ear tip visually represents a better life for once feral cats like Fester.
